Soup, Dogs and Coffee...O Yeah!
Spring is almost here...and with it comes that sense of community and, well, just fresh air. Breezing in and rejuvenating the soul for another year filled with amazing moments and history to make.
The Halifax Area Historical Society kickstarted the new season by hosting a thank you dinner for its members and the community on February 25th, complete with soup, hot dogs, coffee and enough chips and sweets to send one into a glorious food coma.
With the museum open for the evening to top it all off, the night was a blast, bringing in over 35 individuals to eat, learn history, and fellowship with one another in what I would describe as a simple and relaxing party, thanking the community for its continued support. All that was missing was a disco ball and some sweet music.

Thank You Halifax
With 2025 already speeding along like a runaway train, we on the Halifax Area Historical Society Board would like to thank all of you, HAHS members and other community members alike, for all of your love and support over the years and into this new season. Without you all, it would be nearly impossible to preserve and teach the histories of Halifax, allowing for them to thrive for centuries to come.
Together, let's use this year to make history!
